Halal (حلال, halāl, halaal) s the Arabic term in the religion of Islam, which means "permitted" or "may". This term in everyday vocabulary is more often used to refer to the food and drinks are allowed to be consumed by Islam. Meanwhile, in the broader context of the term halal refers to everything that is permissible according to Islamic law (the activity, behavior, dress, etc.). In Indonesia, the certification of halal food products are handled by the Indonesian Ulema Council specifically Research Institute for Food Drugs and Cosmetics Indonesian Ulema Council. |
